"During our four-day-trip to
London my boyfriend and I visited your shop .......... we got
undoubtedly the best service we have ever had in any musical instrument
shop home in Finland or abroad. My boyfriend got a chance to try out
and compare different mouthpieces, and I was offered a cup of free
coffee and tea and a chair to sit on while waiting. Despite our lack of
proper English skills, we were served in the most warm and encouraging
way. ........ we were so overwhelmed by the great treatment we got.
"Many thanks to you, Adrian and Paul, for
all your help and attention. I came to browse in the London
store and left with the beautiful Kookaburra reference.
Despite not having played for some years your welcome was
enthusiastic and free from pressure. It was a delight to be able to
try a range of saxes without any rush or sense of obligation.
There were two or three altos that would have been wonderful for me
and Paul's "if you like that, then you might like this"
approach guided me well. Having loved the Yani it was a shock
to find that I preferred the Kookaburra especially since I tend to
be a "form and function" person, usually unimpressed by labels and
because Selmer's that I tried years ago had not inspired or suited
me. The fact that the sax was checked over carefully before I
left and your help with a few minor post purchase queries has only
enhanced your excellent service" John Young
