Subject: P.Mauriat PMSA 202 : what a sax!!
I blew in an ultra cheap chinese sax for one
year and for my birthday, I had a PMSA 202 . What a sax ! I put my
E.Rousseau JDX (bought from sax.co UK too) and I thought it was someone else
that was playing : every notes sound right so easely ( my tuner says so).
And my fingers play with the keys like they never did before. For
the student who wants to improve his skills and have a great fun: CHOSE
THIS SAX! I couldn't find in France such high quality sax for the same price
and it took only 2 days to be delivered ( thanks to sax.co UK team!)

I had already received the saxophone last
Friday. The condition is perfect, all relevant accessores were attached.
The sound of each keys were well tuned. I keep playing it during this week.
I'm used to play classical music. It's sound is fabulous. It's full of
sense and texture. I do not need to warm it up too long in order to get my
ideal sound. Thank you to all of you for the prompt and reliable service.

Yanagisawa S992 WOW!!!!!!
Hello to everybody in
Sax.co.uk.
I would really like to thank you for the MAGNIFICENT service! I
ordered a Yani soprano straight S992 and several accessories for it and they
arrived in less than 1 day and in perfect condition! The sax is in perfect
condition and it really plays GREAT! It’s bright and perfectly intonated! Your
reviews and comments on you site helped a lot – you see in
Greece we do not have the chance to
test many instruments before we actually make a purchase (unless we travel
abroad!!). The only ones that I have played before was a Yani from the 80’s, the
S992, a Yamaha and a Selmer III. I am a Selmer fan (and really don’t like
Yamahas!!!) but for a sop. I think Yanagisawa is better – according to my taste!
From your site I realized that the S992 is the one and now I am sure that I was
right. I can truly say that the one that I bought from you guys is better than
the one I tried in Greece! I don’t know why but I
suppose that the adjustment might be the reason! Thanks again and if you wish to
use my email as a reference (please don’t show the address!) then go ahead! I am
a VERY satisfied customer!
Cheers!!!!!

This morning i have received the meyer mouthpiece you have suggested
me to buy. Thanks for you efficiency! I have then hurried home and
played with it for about half an hour since i had more things to do.
I must admit that it is a very very very good mouthpiece. I really
want to thank you for your help!! It has excellent blowing response
and yes, it is very bright and powerful in the highest register!!
This is the mouthpiece i needed!!! It worked well with the supplied
ligature but tone and blowing ease was enhanced when i put the rover
evo 5 liguature. It made this mouthpiece more and more good than it
was!!! Thanks for your excellent customer support!! . I am really
happy with this mouthpiece and happy to i know that you are always
there to help me making the right choice!! I will surely return to
you in the near future to buy the otto link metal mouthpiece so as
to have one in my collection. Best regards Emi Vella (Malta)

The crook arrived safe and sound.....I love it! Much more stable through out
and has a great dark tone that I did not expect! My sax has more buzz
through my fingers when I play and you can feel it has much more power and a
fuller rounder tone, but when I turn it up you can really cut through and
get some brightness happening!.....It has also eliminated all of the squeaks
in the altissimo and is really speaking now! My friend put it on his Selmer
MK7 and it improved that too! no problems with intonation at all! Very
Very Happy :exactly what I was after! Thanks for your help Cheers Owen

It arrived. Despite the bad weather and delays and what-not, I got it at
work before lunch-time, talk about service!Needless to say I'd brought my
mouthpiece etc with me. "Plays well" is probably your classic British
understatement at work. It plays great, in fact, it's almost too easy. Now,
it's not as bright as my YAS 62 with the Jumbo Java, but it's got a great
sound that I love, plus there's no beating the charisma of an antique horn.
The BL 100/1 wasn't as edgy as I'd thought it'd be, which is fine with. I
even slapped on a baffle-modified BL 90/2 which had sounded pretty dead on
my 62, and it didn't sound half-bad! Physically, it didn't look as worn as I
thought it would. I don't know if you've seen the Borat movie, but if you
have, keep in mind the car-buying scene and his requirements for a car, and
you'll get the picture as to the oohs and aahs when I quickly ran through
some changes in front of my colleagues. Talk about magnet! Everybody wanted
to hold it, to begin with -- Italians have a fine appreciation for old
things well-made, and are a very tactile people. Keywork's fine, takes a
little bit of getting used to for the positions and heights but no big
worries. To say that I'm happy would another classic piece of British
understatement (see, I learn quickly). So, thanks a million, the whole
experience of buying from you has been a great pleasure. Would that one day
I visit your store... Feel free to use the above in your testimonial page,
if you want -- I'm more than happy to recommend you. Cordially, Kenneth

Hello, I received the sax yesterday (tuesday dec 5th) at 10.30 AM. I am
amazed at how fast it got to my home, what a great work! Thanks a lot for
everything! Setup is perfect for me, the sax plays really beautifully. I
played all day long and I am totally satisfied with it. I played some Selmer
series II and III before taking the risk of buying a sax I had never
played before and for me, there's no question about it, this is the one! I
play in a big band and I have to take some solos. Yesterdays, I had to blow
full power so I could be heard. Now I'm sure the Pablito Mauriat is going to
change this for good! Anytime I have to buy a piece of equipment or a new

excellent. Thanks!

Hi everyone at saxophones.co.uk, My order arrived safely and exactly when UPS
said it would. The sax spent the afternoon being admired by everybody in the
office and I think it has become a little big headed. At home, I actually read
the cover sheet AND watched most of the DVD before attempting to get going with
the instrument. During this time Clyde, my cat, decided that the packing box and
bubblewrap were a super comfy bed. I followed the guide, assembled my sax,
steadied myself and blew. What came out can only be described as a flatulent
duck in a bucket. Clyde made a hasty exit and is still cowering under the bed.
Less than half an hour later I was producing noises that, if you listen
carefully, actually sound like a saxophone. Many thanks for pushing me over the
edge, I know now that I should have done this years ago. Anthony McCarthy

Hi guys, Fantastic service! And what a stunning musical instrument! Arrived on
friday, in perfect condition...cold as hell, but ready to roar. Pretty amazing,
how you can reach across an ocean and have dealings like it's the corner store
and people you've known for years. It's really a pleasure to do business with
you, so don't hesitate if anyone has questions or needs a reference. Georges
Ranger, in the frozen Canadian north!
"I just wanted to drop you a
line to say thank you for all your assistance." Dawn
(Barbados) Artemis soprano sax.
"As this is my final payment, I
would just like to say thank you for the service you have provided. The
saxophone is wonderful…" Linda Dobinson, Club La Manga, Spain. (Artemis
Tenor Sax-Pack)
"We ordered a sax from you a
while ago. It is very good. The teacher, a long time music professor is saying
it is of a quality worth 2 - 3 times more. We were a little bit unsure about the
way to buy such an expensive thing, but it went without trouble. Thank you very
much." - Grethe & Salim Sabri, Norway. (Artemis Alto Sax-Pack)
From : "Well the horn finally
arrived this morning. I started playing it as soon as it came and I've hardly
stopped all day, it is an awesome horn. Thank you for your efficient service and
also for selling me this horn at a very reasonable price. It's a beautiful horn
that I will use in the many years to come." - Niels Rosendahl,
Australia.
