Soprano Sax: Vandoren Optimum Ebonite, Rovner Ligature, Box of Rico Royal Reeds, Mouthpiece Patches.
The excellent Vandoren Optimum is exceptionally free blowing, easy to control and offers a good all round sound. It is a favourite amongst saxophone teachers. We find the Rovner ligature compliments the mouthpiece very well, adding a hint of richness. Rico Royal reeds are easy to play, making blowing and tone production a breeze! It is an ideal first mouthpiece to upgrade to with a leaning towards a more pure, classical tone.
