New Model! The Bari WTII.
50 years ago Wolfe Taninbaum developed a unique tenor facing that Otto Link applied to his blanks and named it the WT facing.

It became so popular that it is now a collector's item at $350-$400. An original was found and copied with facings from 5*-10.

The WTII is gold plated - with cap and ligature - in a slide top - cedar wood box.

The "Hawk II" offering is the first innovation for saxophone mouthpieces since the introduction of the "wedge" or "high baffle".

Radically new chambers are contoured for maximum projection, making this high-end Jazz mouthpiece husky, warm and very reed friendly. A mouthpiece for today's requirements.

Since the neck cork mutes vibrations, an "Enhancer" was devised that collects these muted vibrations into a mini echo-chamber.

With the "Enhancer" in place, the tone becomes intensely focused. This is an "add-on" that truly "Enhances" the sound. Gold plating. Cap/Lig. and "Enhancer" incl.

BARI HAWK FOR ALTO - Review by Jules@sax.co.uk

With it's tiny chamber and extreme baffle the Hawk has a very distinctive sound. Bright, focussed and cutting, this is not a mouthpiece for the fainthearted. It is not, however, a standard 'screamer', there's something different going on here- a fluid, flexible tone which is almost reminiscent of playing a clarinet. This, combined with the fact note bending seems very natural on this 'piece, drew me toward firing off Dixieland & klezmer riffs- both of which felt very natural on this set up. Quirky, but definitely worth a try for anyone looking for something a bit different.

Bari Ebonite

Bari have created an imaginative product after many years of study and experimentation.

They have not invented anything new...just improved it. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the response of the two extreme registers. The low register is sonorous...the highs have their own pocket for continuity of sound and intonation.

Supplied without cap & lig.

Subject: RE: Bari gold soprano mouthpiece
I used a number 2 Vandoren with the number 6 Bari Gold mouthpiece on my Michael White soprano sax. Produces a very direct and loud sound, very noticeable with the progression of volume over previous mouthpieces including a Vandoren s35. Once the mouthpiece warms up you can articulate a lot of reverb out which is what I want when playing blues notes. As for being satisfied with the products and service I've received. I couldn't ask for more.. I will happily recommend your site to others who need sax bits. Cheers, Al
